    I was a student of this college from 1961-62 to 1964-65 [PUC (BiPL) & BSc (BZC). During my first year of the college, the Golden Jubilee Celebrations took place on a grand scale, and Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, Vice President was the distinguished guest. Shri Modali Sivakamaiah was the principal, Shri Bhagavatula Kutumba Rao was the vice principal. The HoDs were: S/Shri MVS (English), Bhagavatula Kutumba Rao (Telugu & Sanskrit), KV (Botany), Muthuswamy & Vidyasagar (Zoology), Chemistry (VS). I was in the company of both - 'good' as well as 'bad' students!
